Selecting the Finest Beans
Our journey begins with careful selection of high-quality coffee beans. We source our beans from some of the finest coffee-growing regions, focusing on African origins known for their distinct and vibrant flavor profiles. Each batch is inspected for size, moisture content, and overall quality to ensure only the best beans make it to the roasting stage.

Preparing for the Roast
Before roasting, the raw green coffee beans are weighed and sorted to maintain consistency. Each coffee variety requires a specific roast profile, carefully developed through trial and expertise to bring out its best attributes. Factors such as altitude, density, and processing method all play a role in how a bean should be roasted.

The Roasting Begins
Using state-of-the-art roasting equipment, the beans are introduced to the roaster, where they undergo a transformation. The roasting process involves a balance of time, temperature, and airflow, all of which contribute to the final flavor.
- Drying Phase (0-4 minutes): The beans slowly lose moisture, turning from a pale green to a yellow hue as they heat up.
- Browning Phase (4-9 minutes): As the beans caramelize, complex flavors develop. This is where unique aromas start to emerge.
- First Crack (9-12 minutes): The beans expand and crack due to built-up pressure, signaling that they are reaching a light roast level. The roaster carefully monitors this moment to determine whether to proceed to a medium or dark roast.
- Development Phase (12+ minutes): Depending on the desired roast profile, the beans are either cooled immediately for a bright, fruity coffee or allowed to continue roasting for deeper, chocolatey notes.

Cooling & Resting
Once the beans reach their ideal roast level, they are rapidly cooled to halt the roasting process. This preserves their flavor integrity and prevents overdevelopment. After cooling, the beans are left to rest for 12-48 hours, allowing CO₂ gases to release and the flavors to settle.

Quality Control & Packaging
Every batch undergoes rigorous quality checks, including cupping (tasting) to ensure consistency and flavor accuracy. Once approved, the beans are packaged in airtight bags with degassing valves to maintain their freshness.
